GOLPES RECIOS is a photo essay inspired by principle, in one of the leading components of the different aspects of music from the plains of my country. The scanning from the images explore an autobiographical journey from the town of Monterrey – Casanare, and one of his closest passageways, looking for the spaces that were inhabited and suffered the consequences of the armed conflict in two different historical moments in Colombia: The liberal guerrillas in the 40’s and 50’s and the “Self-Defence Forces of Casanare” (AUC- ACC).
Each photograph is a whisper trying to point out that however much we try to separate or detach the horror of both moments in the conflict, in the end they cannot be separated and may possibly be their consequence.
